The Pantaloons Femina Miss India 2009 (PFMI) pageant winners were selected at a glittering finale held in the open-air setting of the Andheri Sports Complex, Mumbai, on Sunday evening.

The three winners were: PFMI Universe 2009 Ekta Chaudhary (in green) from Delhi, PFMI World 2009 Pooja Chopra (in red) from Pune and PFMI Earth 2009 Shriya Kishore (in maroon, standing) from Mumbai. PFMI Universe and PFMI World shared top honours, both being No. 1 and were followed by PFMI Earth.

The common question posed to the three finalists was: What was the one thing you would ask God if you met him, and why?

Chopra said she would ask why certain children were deprived of the love of a mother. Choudhary said she would ask the almighty why, if we had all been created equal, we fought each other in his name. Kishore wrestled with the issue of mortality.

The PFMI event was managed by 360 Degrees Experience and the show is scripted and directed by Moranis & Soorma of Cineyug Entertainment.
