I have been asked by many Vodafone Users to post a Method to get a free GPRS for the Vodafone. Nobody wants to pay for what he/she uses. I am also a Nobody so I was also in trying out all the things to get free GPRS for Vodafone users since I am also a Vodafone User. Finally I have got a Full proof way to get free GPRS for all the Vodafone Users. This method has been tested on different mobiles and has been confirmed to be working. Still if anybody faces any problem please contact me and I will try to solve it as quickly as possible.

Followng are the Settings you require to configure on your Mobile:

Account Name: Vodafone_gprs
Homepage: http://live.vodafone.in
User Name: (no need)
Pass: (no need)

Access Point Settings:

Proxy: Enabled
Proxy Address: 10.10.1.100
Proxy Port: 9401
Data Bearer: Packet Data

Bearer Settings:

Packet Data Access Point: portalnmms
Network type: IPV4
Authentication: normal
User Name: (no need)
Password: (no need)

*IF that happen this settings is not working then change the proxy port number to:-

Proxy Port: 9401

Many users have reported that this trick no more work. They have beed charged for service, try at your own risk.

After a Lot of research we have found another hack for free Unlimited GPRS for Airtel live users. The new trick for Airtel free internet is as simple as installing a software on your Cell phone. Actually the trick is to install a Mobile Web Browser called Teashark or Ucweb on your Cellphone.

Follow the steps below for unlimited mobile browsing.

1. Download Teashark browser(for MIDP 2.0 handsets only) from here or from wap.teashark.com if you are using mobile browser.

2. Install the browser and select Airtel Live as the access point and start browsing absolutely free (Don’t worry airtel won’t charge you).

Note: If Teashark browser doesn’t work then go for Ucweb browser which can be downloaded from here. They also have many features like built-in download manager,search function,email service and also page saving options.

The other methods that I was using some time ago and lot of people still using in Rajasthan :
Contact any person who live in maharastra, I contacted my friend at Mumbai. I told him to buy a SIM and activate Mobile Office in it and send it to me. In rajasthan it worked for free now without any recharge. Speed is not so good when compared to Broadband but it still enough for chatting or orkuting.

When u send a message for GPRS activation u receive message like GPRS activated successfully, but sometimes you receive message like service not available or else.
This means that airtel server does not update your activation and we can enjoy free mobile office for life.
I am using it from some months. It depends on your luck.
If you are using this type of free GPRS then don’t open airtel live or other pay sites like mauj, indiatimes etc

Update

It is long time I made this post and many people are saying that its not working. So here is the other trick hope it work.

If you know anyone from other state of India ( not where you live ), call them and ask for SIM card from thier state, make sute they activate mobile office in SIM before they send it to you. And as far I know it will work for free.

How to use Airtel GPRS in Mobile For Free.
To use this you need a GPRS capable Mobile and a Airtel SIM Card.

If you are new to GPRS then Get Airtel Live setting from customer care and edit it.
