KSEB ( Kerala State Electricity Board ) is a Publick Sector Agency under govt of kerala ( India ) that generates, provides and regulates the electricity supply in the state. Established in 1957, the agency comes under the authority of the Department of Power.

In 2008, the KSEB was noted for being among the first government owned companies in India to shift to open source software. The Open Resourced Utility Management Application (ORUMA) software was developed by an in-house team of KSEB, and is being used for electricity billing and accounting.
