India’s rising growth rate may bring a smile to everyone’s faces, but strengthening India’s global positioning by virtue of its trade relations is still something that India needs to work on. As far as the Arab world is concerned, India has had congenial relationship with all Arabic countries, seeing as a large number of Indians migrate to and are living in the Gulf.
The current trade relationship of India with the Arab world is estimated at USD 114 Billion. However, India is now looking forward to improve trade relations and therefore increase this figure. There are many areas where India has copetitive advantages. The commerce ministry of India feels that sharing experiences and technology with the Arabic countries can help strengthen the relationship further.
