Wish of millions of fans of Madhuri Dixit is about to come true. Yes, the rumors are true and she is moving back to India, along with her husband and kids.

The Dhak-Dhak girl, who created a huge storm with her last appearance on the TV show Jhalak Dikhlaja, is now going to live in Mumbai.

While talking to a daily newspaper in Mumbai, she said, “I think this was going to happen one day anyway…it’s pre-ordained. We are all very excited, the kids especially.”

Madhuri left movies and married a US based NRI doctor in 1998. They have two sons together. Her older son is in class 3rd and younger one is in class 1st. School hunting has already started for the tiny tots. Dr. Nene, Madhuri’s husband is also in talks with many top hospitals in the city, as he plans to start his practice through one of them.

Madhuri said, “Everything is changing rapidly in India. It’s a land of opportunities. There is so much to do there. So we thought this is the right time.”

When asked about the reason behind this big step, she said that she and her husband want their kids to grow up in an Indian environment. “It would be a great experience culturally for them. This is where their roots are. They are at an age where they can adapt quickly. They’ll be giving up their friends here, but they are looking forward to making friends there. I want them to learn Hindi and Marathi. I think it will be an exciting time for them too.”

The family will move back in the same apartment in Juhu where Madhuri used to stay before she moved to US.

He revolutionised fielding standards in the Indian team, and across the country. In an age where in a draw was considered as good as a win, Tiger Pataudi encouraged his players to go flat out for victory.”

Imagine Katrina Kaif running from around Heathrow airport, from one corner to another to catch the flight. If it was one of the movies she was in, she would have made it to the flight at the last moment but this is real life we are talking about. She was at the London airport and was running late. She finally missed the flight and in desperation took the next available flight to Mumbai.

Katrina was in London with her whole team of the movie ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’. The movie was premiering in London. Once the movie was launched and the event was completed successfully, she hurried to the airport to catch a flight to Mumbai but her destiny had completely different plans for her. She didn’t make it to the flight. That’s where our nightmare began,” Katrina revealed told IANS, after landing at the Mumbai airport almost 20 hours later than she was supposed to. “I had to get back to Mumbai at any cost. I don’t know how we missed our flight. But we did, and paid a heavy price for it.”

Katrina was spotted running helter skelter at the Heathrow airport along with the director Ali Abbas Zafar to get the next possible flight to Mumbai. And somehow she managed to find a ticket through Oman airlines.

She cleverly left out the gory details of her travel by just revealing “I managed to get back. It was not a pleasant experience. Let’s leave it at that. I’ve learnt my lesson. I’ll never miss a flight again. And if I do, I’ll wait for a proper alternative flight”. There was no explanation as to why she had to be back at Mumbai that quickly while her co star Imran Khan and director Ali Zafar were in no hurry and took a flight that later.

Imran Khan and Ali Zafar, the other two stars of the movie, took a later flight to Mumbai and were in no hurry.

Katrina’s new Obsession with Item Nos

On a completely different subject, Katrina seems quite obsessed with item numbers these days. Her Sheila Ki Jawaani made the whole nation go wild. Recently, she also did a number in the movie bodyguard. But this time she is going to do it in the movie Agneepath. And not with the hero ‘Hrithik Roshan’ but with the BAD Man Kancha Cheena played by ‘Sanjay Dutt’.

Katrina and Sanjay would be seen sharing screen space for the first time. Katrina being a good dancer and Sanjay being not much of a dancer, he has decided to practice vigorously for 2 weeks. Sanjay Dutt will also be seen with shaven head in Agneepath.

The music of this song is being composed by Atul and Ajay who have won National Awards. They are known for their great music in the movie Singham. Word is out that the more…

The Dadasaheb Phalke Chitranagari Film City, which has been around for 3 decades now is all set for a new look. This famous film city is built in an area of 520 acres and boasts of 16 studios that are air conditioned among other facilities. Now the government of Maharashtra has decided to render the place a new look and make it accessible to tourists similar to Ramoji Film City situated in Hyderabad.

The public relations officer of the Film City, Mr. Saini told IANS

“There are some development plans that we have just started working on. It’s an ongoing process and will take some time before it gets implemented. We will first set a committee that will wholly work on the master plan”. He also added that “In 15-20 days most decisions will be made”.

This Film city that is located in Goregaon, a northern suburb of Maharashtra was constructed by the Department of Cultural Affairs that belongs to the government. It was inaugurated in the year 1977 on September 26th. It was initially named as Maharashtra Film Stage and Cultural Development Corporation and was later renamed as the Dadasaheb Phalke Chitranagari in the year 2001. However, people still prefer to refer to it as the Film City.

The Film City would be celebrating its 34th Birthday this month.

An official believes that every second movie in Bollywood has been shot in this film city since its inauguration. According to him, among the recent movies Ready, Bodyguard and Kaun Banega Crorepati have been shot here.

Upcoming movies like ‘Burning Train’, ‘Shola aur Shabnam’ and Vidya Balan’s ‘Dirty Picture’ are also being shot here.

The government wants to equip this place with state of art and lavish facilities. The aim behind this renovation is to make it a one stop shop for all the filmmakers. Special arrangements are going to be made to grant tourists the access to shoots. Apart from this a construction of a museum is also on the cards.

Saini says “We want that the Film City should become one of the best places for filmmaking. We also want it to become a sought after tourist spot. However, we won’t open the entire Film City for tourism purposes. There will be just few places that will be open to the general public,” he also added “We have decided to work on this plan because we used to get many requests from people so we decided that why not do something so that people can see what happens inside a film set and get a closer look at Bollywood”.

Maintenance and general adornment is also being planned for the film city.
