SATTE is now in its 16th year running.
What started as pure inbound, has now become a name for buying and selling Indian tourism.
Having hosted over 4000 tour operators from 40 countries worldwide, with leading partners like Ministry of Tourism, Air India, Indian Airlines and a dozen hotels in the capital, the event offers the only hospitality programme of its kind in the country.
SATTE is now promoting all streams – evolving as India’s travel potential is growing, promoting and featuring all streams including domestic and outbound. Appropriately, we are now calling the event SATTE.
Endorsed by all industry associations and segments, SATTE is by far the biggest show in India and South Asia. With 500 booths last year including 25 states participating, we are looking at 650 plus booths this year. 16 countries exhibited last year. 30 should exhibit this year.
We are working on a strong conference platform.
We have a number of important themes to work upon including IT and travel, heritage tourism, health spas and new destinations.
April is a good time to catch the Indian peak season.
Come with specific packages to offer on B2B platform.
New Delhi is the best place to attract nation wide attention on media, with government and industry.
Start with 50 sq.m. space or with more.
Bring industry from your country to meet with industry in India.
SATTE brings home another advantage: work with the Indian trade, round the year with T3, the country’s leading travel trade magazine.
For SATTE 2009, we are working on new segments and new streams among the exhibitors:
- Airlines and Airports to exhibit and showcase the Indian Aviation.
- New Destinations to feature the new developers who have undertaken large new developments, making India’s metro cities new hip and happening destinations. With shopping malls, multiplexes, hotels and entertainment centres.
- Medical Tourism: will feature the providers of services in the medical tourism sector.
- Health Spas: Will feature the service providers, equipment suppliers and health management organizations.
- Technology in Tourism: IT driven initiatives including CRS, net travel and others.
- Education and Training: In recognition of the growing need for manpower in all segments of the business, will feature professional education and training institutes.
- Entry Level Clusters: For the first time exhibitor, some novel displays essentially table spaces and standing kiosks.
We are expanding on our visitor profile. We will host at least
- 300 plus international tour operators,
- 2000 Indian agents and tour operators,
- 800 – 1200 corporate travel buyers
- 2000 delegates spanning an entire cross section of the industry.
Total visitor count should exceed 9000, along with a seller count of 650 booths comprising over 800 exhibitors, both big and small.
We have worked upon various programmes to get these visitors and ensure a truly international show.
We believe we have a great show ahead. We look forward to welcoming you to SATTE 2009.
